Unemployment Rate in Atlanta Drops

Atlanta has been trying to improve the overall economy of the city by providing more opportunities for jobs to the people. Now, Atlanta has finally been able to drop their unemployment rate in the last month. According to the report provided by Georgia Department of Labor the unemployment rate in the city has dropped down by 1% in the last one month which is a positive sign for the city. The report claims that the numbers have dropped from 8.3% to 8.2% and that has helped the city when they need to improve their economy.

The report also claims that the city council has done great work in bringing down the unemployment levels from 9.4% in the previous October. The report claims that more 19,500 jobs have been added to metro Atlanta and that has been a great boost to the city. One of the biggest sector that got the boost is the retail sector as more and more retail based companies decided to open up in the city. The film and movie industry has also decided to come up in Atlanta and there are many film and television studios that have come up with their offices and staff in the city. Apart from that technical services, education and health care sector has also grown in the city.
